antique woven cotton tapestry, carpet / table cover rug, turn of the century vintage

Beautiful old cotton tapestry hanging, table cover or carpet... we're not sure what this piece was originally intended for, as it doesn't appear to have been used very much if at all.

It came out of an estate in the Galena Illinois area, but aside from that we haven't been able to find out very much at all about it. We'd guess the age ca. 1900, give or take 10 or 15 years either way.

It's nice and clean overall, and measures 100" long x 52" wide.
