vintage Stetson china hand-painted Red Apple pottery cups and saucers, Rio

Vintage hand-painted Stetson pottery dinnerware, in the Rio shape, we think? Stetson pottery is American made and painted - this is 1940's or early 1950's vintage dinnerware, like Blue Ridge / Southern Potteries pieces, which are so well known for their similar fruit patterns.

We don't know what this red apple pattern is called, Replacements calls it only '118', but I think that's probably their own designation for this design, and not an original name. We think Red Apple suits it much better!

This is a lot of six cup and saucer sets, all in very nice shape without chips or cracks.
