Set of eight etched glass sherbets in Federal glass 'needle etch', circa 1926.

This pattern is illustrated in Weatherman's Glassware of the Depression Era book two, which is the only background I've found for this pattern - replacements dot com calls it one of the unknowns.

I love the fine light design and the very deco styling of the foot on these glasses. Sort of a flying saucer shape!

They measure 3 1/2" bowl diameter x about 3" tall. The whole set is in excellent condition without chips or roughness, I don't believe these were ever used.
