art deco vintage Made in France box w/ tiny drawer, perfume bottle or jewelry trinket box

Little vintage box marked Made in France - this has a great art deco style print, but no logo or makers marks that I could find. It looks to me as though it might have been made to hold a perfume bottle, but it could have been from something like jewelry or a small pen? Has some wear but is clean inside and out.
