art deco vintage serving tray, black mirror glass w/ painted silver bird

Beautiful art deco vintage hand painted black glass tray with nickel silver frame and handles. This measures about 21" long over the handles, and 17 1/2" x 11 1/2" over the tray area.

The glossy black has almost a mirror finish, on which the tarnished silver overlay bird shows like a shadow.

There's not a lot of wear to the surface of the tray, though the metal frame has light rust spotting, and one of the feet of the tray has been replaced by a old brass tack.
