art nouveau Awaji pottery early 1900s vintage Japan tea set dishes incised iris flower

Unmarked Awaji pottery made in Japan - I love the bold green and blue colors of this iris floral, very art nouveau, and very different from most old the old Nippon china we see.

These pieces are very crazed, and browned / stained, noticeable dulling in spots and allover finish wear. Not perfect specimens, but it's unusual to find a set as complete as this at all.

There's four each of 7 1/2" diameter plates and 6" diameter plates. One of the smaller plates has a hairline crack (please see photos).
