antique art nouveau vintage lighting, ornate copper wall sconce light

Lovely art nouveau wall sconce with ornate pattern and very old colored paint, an early 1900s vintage electric light fixture. This is solid wrought copper, 17" long overall, and is complete with what we believe is the original ruby red glass shade.

We didn't see a maker's mark on this one, though it might be marked under the thick old paint. It looks nice overall, but will need to have the old wiring replaced for safety (though the socket looks fine).
