40's framed needlepoints, Balloon Man & Lady

Pair of 1940's vintage framed wool needlepoint pictures, renditions of the beloved Staffordshire Balloon Lady and Man. The frames are wood, in good condition, the original old wallpaper backings are torn on one, and missing on the other. The needlework is in very nice shape, and measures 11 1/2" x 9 1/2".
