big old primitive wood masher, carved wooden pestle for cone strainer colander

1940s vintage wooden masher, for grinding in a mortar bowl, or for mashing potatoes, or to use in a cone strainer.

This is a nice one, shows age and wear but is still clean and good enough to actually use! Measures 10 1/2" long end to end.
