black amethyst carnival glass, large shaker or sugar shaker 20th century reproduction vintage glassware

Pretty carnival glass shaker, black glass or black amethyst glass with iridescent luster. I haven't been able to track down this pattern, but I believe it's later 20th century vintage - probably a reproduction of an older pressed glass pattern. The metal shaker lid fits perfectly, but doesn't show the age I'd expect for a 1920s or 30s vintage carnival glass piece.

It's about 5" tall overall, quite large for a salt or pepper shaker. Maybe a sugar shaker? The lid shows no sign of ever being used for anything, and the glass itself is in excellent condition.
