vintage enamelware, blue & white swirl graniteware enamel, big round dishpan

Old primitive blue and white agateware enameled metal dish pan, from a farm estate here in Wisconsin. The pan measures 17" in diameter across the rim, and is water tight yet, though has noticeable enamel wear and discoloration from years of use.

We think it's nicer to have a genuine old piece of Americana, rather than French country imports, or newer reproduction graniteware, and like to imagine all the kitchen, farm and household chores this dish has has a hand in over the years!
