blue waves ripple crochet striped afghan, vintage crocheted wool blanket

Shades of blue crocheted wool afghan, 50s or 60s vintage, nice and clean, not terribly scratchy. This measures 72" wide x 102" long, big enough for a bedspread!

This doesn't look as though it's ever been used or laundered, though there's a mysterious darned row (mended, or a repaired 'mistake' in the crochet?). See photos.
