bohemian vintage hand knotted lace window valance panels, natural linen thread macrame

Vintage handmade macrame valance curtains, probably 1920 - 30s rather than 60s - 70s, we think! These are absolutely beautiful, very elaborate. They must have taken a long time to make, with the heavily textured knots.

This is a set of two panels made of natural unbleached flax linen thread. Each panel measures 21" across, 7" deep at the points not including the fringe, 10" deep overall. There's no hooks or mountings (I don't believe these were ever used) but I think round rings or small clips to easily be affixed to the top.
