pair of vintage 1950s electric Ronning dryer for wool socks, ice skates, ski boots etc., Norway

Pair of vintage mid-century, "The Ronning" electric shoe and footwear dryers. Great for drying your ice skates, skiing boots, shoes, heavy wool socks etc. after a day out in the damp and snow. These are marked "R. Ronning, Oslo - Made In Norway", so you know that they understood damp feet. They are made of aluminum and carry a US patent number from 1953.

These shoe dryers measure about 8 3/4" long and 2 3/4" across the widest part of the foot. We've plugged them both in and they heat well. They are in nice vintage condition with some wear to the paint.
