embossed wrought solid brass compote dish pedestal bowl, vintage India

Large comport bowl, made in India, in the beaten brass style most often made in England. This measures 9 1/4" across the diameter of the bowl, and stands 5 3/4" tall overall. There are a few tarnish spots to the brass, no other condition problems.
