Lot of early 1850s or 1860s, Civil War vintage, brass saw medallions from an old farm estate. One of these saw medallions is from Henry Disston of Philadelphia. The larger medallion marked "H Disston", a smaller medallion marked "Warranted Superior", both with eagles and split nuts, and four small early saw bolts, one with a split nut.

We've been told that the Henry Disston medallion is probably from the late 1840s through the early 1860s because of the design. We're guessing that the second eagle medallion is from a similar period because of the nut. But we're not sure.
