early 1900s The Breeder's Gazette magazines, farm livestock photos

Lot of three early, turn-of-the-century vintage, "The Breeder's Gazette" farm magazines from an old farm estate. These are from the years 1901, 1904 and 1909. These old magazines have color litho covers and are full of tons of great old advertising, farm animal photographs and illustrations and much more!

We saw some great photos and illustrations of Percheron stallions, draft horses, beef and dairy cows and bulls, sheep and more. There is a great photo of 11 puppies sitting on a set of old barn steps "Well Guarded" (so cute!). The 1901 issue has a full color art plate of "Protector" the champion Hereford bull of England. One magazine has a color lithograph back cover of Scottish Highland Cattle.

These magazines measure about 15 inches x 10 inches and have around 100 pages each. They have wear and the spines have been repaired with tape.
