heavy wool tweed fabric, 1950's vintage, brown and green

Vintage tweed fabric, from an estate lot of 50s fabrics. This is nice and thick, coat weight. We think it's probably 100% wool, because of the vintage - but it might be an early blend, I guess.

The fabric measures 60" wide x 1 1/2" yards. There's a quarter sized hole about 21" up the length, and again 21" in from the selvage. No signs of moth damage, the nap is good, and there's no thinning the the fabric. The hole looks as though it was caught in a cabinet or trunk hinge.
