vintage bucharian embroidered yarmulke or kippah religious cap

Ornate embroidered yarmulke or kippah. It measures about 7" across and 2 1/2" high. It is in very nice condition.

We're not sure of the exact vintage of this piece.

We've been told that this cap is made in the Bucharian style of the Jewish community in the Central Asian city of Bukhara , a major trading post on the Silk Road (the trade route bringing goods from China to the West).
