chalk white paint antique embossed brass ceiling light fixture, early electric vintage lighting

Early 1900s vintage flush mount twin light fixture for slip on shades or exposed light bulbs. This is a lovely thing, very ornate. It's about 12 1/2" long over the oval, missing the center finial.

It looks to be completely brass underneath the chippy chalk white paint... we can't decide whether the old paint of the brass would be prettier, so we've left it just as we found it!
