retro vintage chrome torpedo/bullet dryer for hair stockings/lingerie

Mid century vintage chrome bullet shaped Race 65 electric dryer with wall mounting bracket and original round hatbox style box or case. This dryer has two modes of operation - cold (just blowing air) and hot (heated air). Both work well.

According to the box, this was intended for drying hair, hands, stocking, lingerie, baby layette and other delicates.

This dryer is made by the Racine Universal Motor Company or Racine, Wisconsin. This is in very nice condition with bright chrome and the original mounting screws still in an envelope in the bottom of the box. There is some light wear to the box.
