vintage Coats & Clark sewing kit w/ scissors, old wood advertising spools

Small sewing kit, an advertising kit from Coats and Clark, 1950s vintage. The eigh twooden spools of cotton thread measure 1" long. The scissors isn't marked, but is in very good shape, the cardboard sewing box has some light wear. I don't know what was meant to fit inside the area with the thread (probably a needle case?), this came to us just as shown.
