Depression vintage painted chalkware ladies, poor man's Royal Doulton style! These measure about 8 1/2" tall are are fairly heavy - nice for fireplace ornaments, probably not quite up to use as doorstops.
Both have an 'antique' gold varnish finish, and both have a few small chips - the flower seller more so than the lady arranging flowers.
