decorative wood birdcage or plant holder, vintage decor, rustic natural wood display

Roughly made decorative wood bird cage, about 11 1/2" tall overall. It's made in the Philippines, maybe 70s - 90s vintage? Great patina, though it's a little dusty.

It looks to me like the bottom should come out, to clean it or to put greenery or a plant inside. I couldn't figure out how to do it, though! Bottom is not quite flat or tight to the cage as it is.

Also, the feet don't stand perfectly level, maybe they figured it would be a hanging piece. You could just sand the feet a little once you fill it.
