plum blossom or dogwood flower branches floral, mid-century vintage pies & cake plate

Lot of vintage USA oven proof pottery baking and serving pieces, all with flowering branches pattern. We thought these look like plum or cherry blossoms, but we've been told that this pattern name is dogwood ? It's yellow flowers with black branches, mid-century oriental style with we think would be just as lovely with modern asian zen!

There are four of the 10" diameter pie plates (two are discolored from use), and one cake or torte plate 11 1/4" across the handles. These are marked hand-decorated under glaze, with the Marcrest or Stetson mark.
