early 1900s vintage wood slaw board w/ cabbage box, Indianapolis brand kraut cutter large bench board

Antique slaw cutter for making sauerkraut - this is a good, big, old one, built to last. Carbon steel blades and long, bench style board (WITH the cabbage box!) make cutting cabbage easy.

This is beautifully marked Indianapolis Sanitary 642, with patent numbers dating to 1910. Board measures 26 1/2" long x 9" wide.

It's in very good condition, solid, no looseness to the joints or blade assembly. Blades are very sticky (old residue from use, or perhaps beeswax put on to protect the blades from rust?). The blades look good, but you'll need to clean this if you want to use it!
