early auto license plates lot, Illinois, vintage 1917, 1918, 1919

Three old (15" long) Illinois license plates for the years 1917, 1918, and 1919, all from a farm auction in rural Illinois. We know nothing at all about license plates, but thought these were neat old pieces, and would make great primitive tin signs for inside or out!
