English glass jam jar or marmalade pot, glass w/ chrome, red handles

We've been told that this jam pot is from England, but we don't know much else about it. It's 50s or 60s vintage, we think, and is wheel-cut glass with chromed metal lid and cute little red handles.

The glass jar stands 3 1/2" tall x 3" in diameter, and in in very nice condition. The little jelly spoon looks good too, but there's a little spotting and wear to the finish of the metal lid, and some scratching to the red handles.
