extra large antique clothespins, primitive old weathered wood spring type clips

Very large, very primitive vintage - clothespins? These look like oversized clothespins, but I'm not sure what they were actually used for originally. They're not identical, so might have been handmade? And they are very rustic, even burned a bit on the wood (wood seems solid, just a charred black in spots). These would be great to hang linens or quilts or feedsacks or prints or paper art or - so many uses for these! Six pieces in this lot, as shown.
