10 vintage feedsack shop/kitchen towels, heavy old cotton sacking fabric
more photos of this product belowLot of 10 vintage cotton towels made from heavy old cotton sacks... these are mostly bags which once held dry cement, 1950s vintage. These came out of an Illinois farm estate and were made from the cement sacks used when putting of a new barn, around 55 years ago.
The fabric is very firm, with a homespun type nubby texture. These would make good primitive style fabric, or a nice lot of heavy-duty towels for your kitchen or workshop.
The towels all measure about 32" x 30". Most have a few spots, or holes or other signs from their working days as sacks, as well have some foxing from storage, which we'd expect to clean up with a washing or soaking. The towels were never used as such, but have been folded away in a box for decades! Some have remains of printing, which may or may not wash out with use and laundering.Lot of 10 vintage cotton towels made from heavy old cotton sacks... these are mostly bags which once held dry cement, 1950s vintage.
