old amber glass student table lamp light shade, hobnail pattern, vintage fenton

Vintage hobnail pattern glass lamp shade with crimped ruffled top, beautiful amber glass. This is vintage Fenton, or another US glassmaker (L.E. Smith ?), we think. The shade measures 8" in diameter, 7" across the fitter, and 6 1/4" tall overall.

It's a factory second, and has a noticeable maker's flaw, a flat bubble about 1" long. Otherwise it's in very nice shape, so we decided to list it, because we know from our own collection how difficult it can be to find the right size in replacement lamp shades, and less than perfect is still often much better than nothing!
