First Love white roses / pale grey border vintage Japan china, set for 8

Vintage 'First Love' pattern dinnerware, Gold China - made in Japan. This is late 1950s vintage, we think? though we haven't been able to find out much information about this pretty white roses pattern.

This is a set for eight - no cups and saucers, but eight each of 5 1/2" bowls, 7 1/2" bowls or soup plates, 7" x 7" square plates for salads or desserts, 6 1/2" bread and butter plates, and 10 1/4" dinner plates. One of the dinner plates has a chip and a crack, though all of the other pieces of all types look very good, without damage. There's also a gravy boat or sauce dish with attched underplate, it's the only serving piece we had from this set, and so we're including it for you here.
