40s - 50s vintage print silk or rayon fabric, floral on brown

Beautiful silky fabric, 1940s or 50s vintage, rayon or silk (rayon, we think?). This came out of the estate of a lady who made and restored fancy Victorian lampshades during the 1950s, she had many lovely old silks, and some period rayon dress material as well.

This piece measures 36" wide x 5 yards. It's a bright flowered print on a light brown background - this has no moire pattern, that's just our photo, sorry! We had a very difficult time with this print for some reason.
