ornate vintage Florentine style picture / mirror frame, antique gold finish

Ornate Florentine gilt style wood frame, marked Japan. This measures 23" x 19" overall, picture area 16" x 12". It's in very nice condition, but holds no glass. This would look pretty with a glass mirror, or a Victorian era print.
