old patchwork flour sack quilt w/ flower basket pattern blocks, vintage 1930s-40s

Lovely old flower basket pattern patchwork quilt, depression era vintage or shortly thereafter, from a farm estate in rural Wisconsin.

The top is pieced of natural white cotton flour sack material, between the cotton flowered print fabric basket motifs. The pieced quilt block top was tied with a plain flour sack fabric backing, it's a bed cover or bedspread, flat and thin, without a heavy batting between the layers. Measures 88" x 68" overall.

This is as found, it's not really very dirty, but does have some spots and soil marks from years of storage. We haven't washed it or soaked it at all.
