framed vintage photo early Illinois farmhouse settlers couple in antique gold frame

Beautiful antique gesso wood frame with a nice old photo of a farm couple and their home, circa 1900 or therabouts. This came out of an estate in Jo Daviess county Illinois and we think this is probably from that area.

The photo (6 1/2" x 4 3/4") is matted on brown paper, framed under glass. The frame measures about 10" x 11 1/2" overall.

Both the frame and the matted photo look good, without discoloration. Pay no attention to the shadow of the photographer reflected in the glass - sorry about that!
