french country style stoneware butter bell crock jar, hand painted artist signed pottery

Simple, lovely french country style butter keeper, artist signed stoneware pottery. I just can't make out this signature, but I loved the gray and cream colors, and the nice heavy weight - perfect for a rustic farmhouse kitchen. It's clean, but has a small chip at the rim, which doesn't show at all with the cover on.
