GrantCrest pink crocus pattern china, vintage pottery lot dinner plates, soup bowls

Vintage pink crocus pattern china dishes, made in the USA, some pieces are marked Grant Crest - Pink Crocus.

This looks like the exact same decal pattern as the W. S. George Pink Crocus pattern, so we'd expect that this was a special department store issue made for the store by the George potteries... the sizes of the dishes appear to be slightly different, although they share the same general coupe shape.

There are twenty-four pieces in this lot - an oval platter, 11 1/4" long (very nice) - eight 10" dinner plates (all very nice) - eight 6 1/4" bread and butter or dessert plates (these have kitchen grease marks, most noticeable to the undersides of the plates) - and seven 8" soup bowls (all nice).
