old hand crank tool grinder or sharpener vintage farm shop tool

Old hand cranked grinder or tool and knife sharpener with old green paint. This is from an old farm estate and it has a primitive wood handle on the crank.

This grinder has a gear box drive that steps up the speed of the grinding wheel to many times the speed the handle is turned at.

It measures about 10 " high and 4 1/2 " across the aluminum oxide grinding wheel. This turns well, but it does have soil and light rust.
