handmade knit lace bedspread, vintage coverlet, knitted lace counterpane

Vintage KNITTED lace bedspread - this is lovely. Out of the hundreds of handmade cotton lace bedspreads I've bought, sold and collected over the years, this is the first hand knit thread lace spread I've ever found. Truly a treasure.

Fun fact. It takes a lot longer to knit lace than to crochet it, and the old patterns before charting was common are almost impossible to keep straight. I knit and crochet, so I know!

This measures about 102" x 102" overall, large enough for a queen size bed. It's been used and needs a little work to mend a few holes, and give it a washing (it's a little discolored, and has some spots).
