handmade vintage bow tie patchwork quilt colorful cotton prints & feedsack fabric

1940s or early 50s vintage hand pieced patchwork tied quilt, loads of wonderful old cotton fabrics and feed sacks on this one - with a flour sack backing! This measures about 70" x 44".

This workmanship on this one is very good, it's neatly pieced and carefully sewn, tied with pink warp cotton thread. We have a number of quilts from this same estate, and have also listed another bow-tie quilt which was a 'match' to this one (though of course they aren't really exact matches, being handmade from scrap fabrics).

It's in very good condition overall, no holes, or fraying from wear. There are some spots (visible on the unbleached cotton sack fabric on the back, as well as the front.
