old hat making forms, wood blocking head & roll brim mold, vintage millenery

Vintage hatmaking forms, both shaped of a light weight wood. We'd guess that these are early to mid century vintage, they came out of the estate of a professional seamstress and tailor.

The ring to shape hat brims measures 7 3/8" over the inside of the ring, and 10 1/4" in diameter over the ring overall. It's about 1 1/2" deep. The wooden 'head' measures 7" tall to the top of the head, and is marked 22 1/2, and stamped from Midwest haberdashery company.

Both pieces have wear and use, and quite a bit of discoloration. Neither has chips or cracking.
