huge old Petrus Regout soup tureen, vintage french farmhouse style white pottery

Beautiful old Dutch white glazed pottery soup tureen, early 1900s vintage. This looks like white ironstone, but it's ceramic, not china. It's heavy, with a clean simple shape, European country style.

The lid has a chip at the edge of the ladle notch, as shown. The bowl itself looks very good - some light general wear and scratching from use, but no damage.

This measures 10" across the rim of the bowl, about 12 1/2" across the handles. It's 13" tall to the top of the apple shaped knob on the lid.
