huge oval gratin dish, vintage hand-painted terracotta pottery, E Alves Portugal

Huge oval gratin or casserole dish, rustic Portugal pottery, all handpainted. It's about 16" long and about 3 1/2" deep.

This is in very nice condition, it doesn't look as though it was ever used. There are some irregularities and makers flaws as are often found on these folk art style pieces.
