vintage riveted iron picnic pie/cake carrier w/white ironstone plates

Old antique vintage iron picnic food carrier or plate rack with two old white ironstone china plates. The iron rack has riveted construction and measures 10 1/4" across (on the inside) and about 5 3/4" high, not including the wire handle.

The heavy white ironstone plates are both about 9 3/4" across. One plate is marked Alfred Meakin - England with the english potter's mark. The other plate has an embossed mark for Greenwood China - Trenton, NJ that is marked 1862 - 1876.

This metal rack has age and tarnish and the ironstone plates have wear, scratching, and spots.
