vintage Italian hand-painted earthenware pottery, demitasse coffee / dessert set for 4

Hand-painted ceramic ware expresso / dessert set for four, vintage Italy. The plates measure 7 1/2" in diameter and the cups are about 2 1/2" tall.

Nearly all of these pieces have chips or other damage (this type of earthenware tends to be a little fragile!) but we think the demitasse cups would be cute to hold plants or flowers.
