large Santa head planter MCM vintage USA pottery, Christmas tree holder

Large and heavy hand painted ceramic Santa head, no makers marks that I could find. American made, mid century vintage. This is showing some age and wear, but it's perfect to hold a little Christmas tree!

Pot measures about 7 1/2" across the bottom on the exterior of the pot, stands 6 1/4" tall. There's a few hairline cracks, some spots and soil - sounds worse than it looks in real life.
