large china platter dark brown transferware Gainsborough vintage J & G Meakin England

Oval serving platter 14" long, vintage J & G Meakin, Gainsborough (fruit and flowers) in a dark brown, almost black. I love the color here, a bold monochrome design.

This is in very good condition - I saw a few slightly discolored marks, but no scratching or finish wear, no chips or other damage.
