large crochet lace butterfly, vintage handmade doily or chair bac

Handmade crochet lace butterfly, mid-century vintage. This is maybe a dresser top doily, or a chair back? Measures about 26 1/2" x 13" overall.

There's no holes or fraying, but there is a large faint spot to the white cotton thread. I think you'll probably want to give it a good soak.
