Big heavy solid brass doorknocker, a pineapple 8" long, 4 1/2" wide. This would be lovely for a historic home - a pineapple is the traditional symbol of welcome. I like that.

This is tarnished, and has a worn surface to the polished finish. Lots of wear and scratching from years of use. This is an authentic vintage piece of architectural hardware.
